On April 8, 1983 a Ugandan special forces police officer shot dead 21 people at the funeral of a colleague in Asureti, a village near Soroti, Uganda, before committing suicide. 16 of those killed died at the scene, while five more later died in hospital. Among the victims were two policemen.[1][2][3][4]
