Entjik Abu was a Malay who killed five people and wounded ten others in Kebon Sari, a village near Probolinggo, Dutch East Indies on September 25, 1887, before being arrested.

Some time prior to the rampage there had been a burglary in Probolinggo and when the wedhono (district chief) heard that some of the booty was hidden in Abu's house he searched the place to secure the evidence. Soon the stolen goods were discovered, but when the wedhono tried to handcuff Abu, the latter resisted, grabbed a weapon, and fatally stabbed the district chief. Several people then tried to overwhelm him, but Abu struck them down, killing four. Abu eventually surrendered his weapon to a follower of the head native official, who had been ordered to capture him, and was taken into custody.[1][2][3][4]
