George Jackson was an American farmer who killed six of his relatives in Wagener, South Carolina, United States on October 25, 1931, before being arrested.

He was sentenced to death in December the same year, but was spared execution on the electric chair, when his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment by governor Blackwood on July 20, 1932. In 1936 he was eventually found to be insane and transferred to a mental hospital to be held there permanently.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20] [21]
