Mahomed Barkat was an Indian who killed eight of his relatives in a village near Lahore, British Raj in 1937.

Barkat was thrown out of the family home by his stepmother after the death of his father, and afterwards lived with his step-brother for a while, but eventually was ordered to leave there, too. Infuriated he armed himself with a hatchet, and during the night went from house to house, killing his relatives in their sleep.[1]
