Masanori Hikosaka was Japanese who wounded at least twelve people, one of them seriously, at a film theatre in Nagoya, Japan during the night of October 17, 1958. After watching a Samurai movie at a cinema the 21-year-old mental patient went to another theatre, where he stood up halfway through the performance and began stabbing the other members of the audience with a kitchen knife until he was overpowered by police.[1][2][3][4]
