Rebasien was an Indonesian who killed twelve people and wounded at least seven others in Napal Malientang, a district in Bengkulu, Dutch East Indies in June 1856. Police was dispatched to the scene to capture him after receiving report of the incident on June 11, but Rebasien, who suffered from mental illness, resisted arrest and was killed during a struggle, in which he injured at least one police officer.[1][2][3][4][5]
