On May 24, 1964 a Chinese killed three people and wounded twelve others in Tai Po, Hong Kong.

The man, who was armed with a shotgun, first killed an off-duty policeman, and then fled into a forest, where he was sought by 200 policemen. He managed to hold his pursuers at bay for six hours, fatally hitting in the process two officers, and wounding twelve more, before he himself was shot dead by one of the policemen.[1][2][3] [4]
